Conference Overview
The North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (NC FBLA) State Leadership Conference (SLC) is the premier annual gathering of the state’s top high school/middle school students, future entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. The conference at Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC brings together thousands of student competitors, advisers, and business professionals to celebrate achievement, build professional networks, and showcase practical business skills.

Competitors & Members: High school student members who have qualified through regional competition tiers.
Advisers & Educators: Local chapter advisers guiding student development and managing competition logistics.
Volunteers & Judges: Business professionals, community leaders, and alumni serving as competitive event judges and workshop facilitators.
Business Leaders: Corporate partners, industry executives, and employers participating in networking sessions, judging panels, and workshops to connect with emerging talent.

Competitive Events
Students who have advanced through regional competitions or are competing in a state event put their skills to the test in over 60 dynamic events. Categories span finance, management, marketing, technology, and public speaking, featuring both objective testing and live performance evaluations.

Leadership Workshops
Attendees actively participate in interactive breakout sessions led by corporate partners, educators, students, and motivational speakers, where they explore career readiness, practical financial literacy, targeted resume building, modern digital leadership skills, effective networking strategies, interview preparation techniques, and many other valuable topics.
