Three Experienced Professionals Appointed to Guide NC FBLA into Its Next Chapter
The North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (NC FBLA) Executive Board is pleased to announce the appointment of three experienced professionals to lead the organization's operations for the 2026-2027 school year. This announcement marks an exciting new chapter for NC FBLA as the board transitions to a specialized three-position leadership structure designed to strengthen programming, improve organizational capacity, and better serve the thousands of students and chapter advisers across North Carolina.
Together, Michelle Brooks, Jennifer Adcock, and Noah Estes bring more than 60 years of combined experience to NC FBLA. The board is confident that their collective expertise, passion for student leadership, and deep connection to the FBLA mission will move the organization forward in meaningful ways.
Meet the New NC FBLA Leadership Team
Michelle Brooks - Interim NC FBLA State Advisor
Michelle Brooks joins NC FBLA as State Adviser, the senior leadership position responsible for overall organizational direction, DPI partnership, financial oversight, board relations, and supervision of the NC FBLA leadership team. Michelle's background and experience make her well-suited to guide the organization and ensure NC FBLA continues to fulfill its mission of preparing North Carolina's future business leaders.
Jennifer Adcock - Interim NC FBLA Assistant State Advisor
Jennifer Adcock steps into the role of Assistant State Adviser and State Officer Liaison, where she will work directly with the NC FBLA state officer team, support chapter advisers, and help coordinate key events including the National Fall Leadership Conference, State Leadership Conference, officer training, and the National Leadership Conference. Jennifer's experience and dedication to student leadership make her an outstanding addition to the NC FBLA team.
Noah Estes - Interim NC FBLA State Leadership Conference Director
Noah Estes joins NC FBLA as State Leadership Conference Director, leading all planning, coordination, and execution of the annual State Leadership Conference. Noah will oversee competitive events, conference logistics, vendor relationships, volunteer coordination, and conference programming. His role is critical to delivering the high-quality conference experience that NC FBLA students and advisers expect each year.
About This Transition
This new three-position structure replaces the previous single State Adviser role. The change reflects the NC FBLA Executive Board's commitment to building a stronger, more accountable, and more responsive organization. Each position has a specialized focus, allowing NC FBLA to better serve its chapters, advisers, and students across all eight regions of North Carolina.
