Annual Conferences
NC FBLA hosts and supports four major annual conferences, each providing students with opportunities to develop, refine, and showcase their leadership and business skills.
National Fall Leadership Conference
The FBLA National Fall Leadership Conference is an annual event designed to empower students with leadership skills, business knowledge, and networking opportunities. Through interactive workshops, students develop essential career and leadership abilities to succeed in their future endeavors.
Regional Leadership Conferences
Each winter, regions host Regional Leadership Conferences — a student’s first opportunity each year to compete. Regions host competitive events run by vice presidents, their advisors, and board members. At regionals, the top high school finishers and middle school finishers in each event receive awards and become eligible to advance to the State Leadership Conference.
State Leadership Conference
The State Leadership Conference is a 2½-day spring event. The top three in each event may go to the National Leadership Conference. The conference also has networking opportunities, officer elections, workshops, and other activities. It ends with a formal awards ceremony for event finalists and the installation of the next year’s state officers.
National Leadership Conference
National Leadership Conference is the peak event of the FBLA year, held each summer to bring together the organization’s most driven students. It’s the culmination of months of classroom learning, local and state competitions, and individual preparation. At NLC, top FBLA members from across the country converge to compete in leadership events, present their achievements, and test their skills against the best in the organization.
